  • How to Create Staff Members
    To grant a new employee access to Docendo, you can create a new user at any time. Click on Settings ⚙️ in the top right corner. Click on Staff. Click on Create Staff Member. Now you can add one or more users by entering a name (e.g., a teacher, educator, substitute, etc.). For each user, you can also choose login options. Enter an email to allow the staff member to log in. NOTE: If you do not add an email for a staff member, they will be created without login access bFew readers
  • Edit Users (Name, Email, Initials, Employee ID)
    You can edit a user's name, login, and email in the staff list. Click on Settings ⚙️ in the top right corner. Click on 'Staff'. Click 'Edit' next to the user you want to modify; here, you can change the user's name, email, initials or employee ID. Click ' Save' to apply the changes.Few readers
  • Remove a Staff Member
    When you need to remove a staff member – for example, a person who has gotten a new job or a temporary employee who no longer needs access – you can do it as follows: Click on Settings ⚙️ in the menu at the top right Click on 'Staff' Click on 'Remove' next to the staff member you want to remove.   • Transfer a Schedule Fully or for a Period
    In certain situations—such as during extended absences—it may be necessary for a teacher or educator to take over another person's tasks or schedule. This can be done quickly in Docendo. Click on Settings ⚙️ in the top right menu. Click on Staff. Click on Transfer Calendar (Periodic). Select the original teacher and the substitute. Also, set a start and end date.   • Merge Users
    If two users have been created with the same name (for example, one with login and one without), it may be beneficial to merge them into one user. This is especially useful if scheduling tasks have been assigned to one user and need to be moved to the correct user. With the 'Merge users' function, you can choose which user to keep and assign all activities to, while the other user is deleted.
