How to Create Grade Schedules
Grade schedules in Docendo can be found under 'Grades/Groups' in the menu on the left-hand side. Here, you'll also find the button to create grades/groups. You can create one or more grades/groups. Enter the name of each grade/group on a separate line. Once you have entered the names of all the grades/groups, click "Create". The grades/groups are now created and visible under 'Grades/Groups' in the menu on the left-hand side. You can create courses directly in the grade schedules on the left side of the schedule. If multiple grades/groups have the same courses it is easier to create them under 'Planning' 'Subjects'. Click 'Create course' and give the subject a title. If you need to make a major change related to the teacher or room for a subject, this can be done quickly in Docendo. See the options below for adding, removing, and replacing teachers/rooms going forward. Add Teacher/Room Onwards: Go to the date the change should apply from. Click on the subject on the selected date. Make sure the teacher/room is assigned to the subject. In any grade/group calendar, you will always find an updated summary of the class's teaching hours. In addition to the countdown of annual hours for each subject, you can click on 'Calculate Hours' to the right above the calendar to access a specified summary of the total teaching hours and each individual subject over a desired period. View History for a Lesson You can find the history of a lesson, for example, who has assigned a substitute teacher, changed the time of the lesson, etc. To view the history for a specific lesson, click on the lesson in the calendar, then select 'History' in the popup window. Delete Lessons in the Calendar You can delete a lesson directly in the calendar by clicking on the specific lesson and then clicking the 🗑️ icon in the top right corner. To delete a grade, location, shared calendar, or similar, go to the calendar and find the three-dot button in the top right corner. Then click 'Delete Calendar'. By default, the time frame 06:00–18:00, Monday to Friday, is displayed in all calendars in Docendo. However, there are two additional views: full week view and 24-hour view. To switch between these views, go to the relevant calendar, click on the three-dot button in the top right corner above the calendar, and select between 5 days, 7 days, or 24 hours under 'View'.
