How to Create Courses/Subjects

You can create courses directly in the grade schedules on the left side of the schedule. If multiple grades/groups have the same courses it is easier to create them under 'Planning' > 'Subjects'. Click 'Create course' and give the subject a title.



For each subject, you can set a range of default settings:

Teacher
Room
Number of hours in a school year
Standard duration
Course category
Color



When you click on a grade/group, you will see that courses are visible on the left side of the schedule. To access the default settings, click on the subject in the list on the left-hand side of the schedule or in the table of subjects under 'Planning' > 'Subjects'. When you make changes to a subject, the settings (such as teacher, room, or standard duration) will automatically apply every time the subject is added to the schedule.

For each individual subject in the schedule, you can make changes for a specific day if the teacher, duration, or room differs from the default setting.

Each course will also display the number of teaching hours for the school year. As subjects are added to the schedule, this number will decrease — making it a helpful guide to meet the correct number of hours for each subject.
